Xbox One's New Reputation System, Potential Dishonored and Rage Sequels.

Good afternoon folks.

Today I've got some info on the new reputation system for the Xbox One and Bethesda has hinted at some Dishonored and Rage sequels.

Let's start with the reputation system.

The Xbox One Reputation System

Microsoft has given some new insight into a new reputation system for the Xbox One.

Saying that Xbox Live will be "rewarding healthy participation while reducing troublemakers and cheaters,"

At first it was unclear what that meant, thankfully Mike Lavin explained to OXM(Official Xbox Magazine)

"There'll be very good things that happen to people that just play their games and are good participants. And you'll start to see some effects if you continue to play bad or harass other people en masse. You'll probably end up starting play more with other people that are more similar to you."

Also, everyone's Reputation "will be as fully visible as Gamerscore in your profile," scum of the earth or a saint, everyone will know. To foster a better community, Microsoft will be hosting events that encourage players to engage in activities that will actively boost their Reputation score.

Lavin went on to clarify that there's no way for players to torpedo your Reputation when you've done nothing wrong too.

"The way that it's built fundamentally stops that, it's very much over a period of time. If we see consistently that people for instance, don't like playing with you, that you're consistently blocked, that you're the subject of enforcement actions because you're sending naked pictures of yourself to people that don't want naked pictures of you.......Blatant things like that have the ability to quickly reduce your Reputation score."

Microsoft will do more to encourage good behavior.

Potential Dishonored and Rage sequels
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/03/bethesda-on-potential-dishonored-rage-sequels?utm_campaign=fbposts&utm_source=facebook

Last year's 'Dishonored' made by Bethesda, which sold well and has rave reviews, with more DLC on the way and id's RAGE might have sequels made in the future.

Vice President of PR and marketing Pete Hines called 'Dishonored' a "new franchise".

IGN had asked Hines if there was a future in the series, Hine said...

"In general, we try not to wade into anything as a one-off in the first place, so yeah, for sure. The success of that game and how proud Arkane is of it and what goes on at any studio when they put out something like that and all the ideas that are coming out, certainly it's something that we feel is a franchise."

"It's specific to Arkane, what we do or don't do on Dishonored has zero effect on id, Tango, Machine Games. Each one, in some respects, kind of acts in a silo. It doesn't really matter what those guys are making. 'What are you good at? What are you going to work on next? What are you going to do next? Okay, that's what we're going to do.' It's as simple as that."

When id, IGN asked Hines about recent sports that say that Rage 2 has been canceled and whether that franchise still has a potential future.

Hines said "To be determined."

"We'll see. Right now, ids'  focus is on their current project. They are full bore on that. What I've seen of it recently, I'm super happy about it. We want them to stick to that until we're ready to talk about what that is. But let's wait until we get there first."

Oh man I cannot wait to see that new reputation system go into effect.

I could have used that yesterday when some kid was trash talking everyone on his team for sucking and my team for cheating on Black Ops 2.

Those guys would get a taste of their own medicine and see some actual effects for being a jerk to everyone. Finally there will be an actual deterrent for these kinds of people and everyone else who plays simply to have a good time will be rewarded.

As for the potential sequels.

We could be seeing more of Dishonored and a 50/50 chance whether or not we're going to see a sequel to Rage.

I still haven't had the opportunity to play Dishonored but I hope to play it soon, Rage I did have the opportunity to play, I did like the game and really the only problem with Rage was that it was too short. The ending also left so much room for a sequel so I hope to see more info on the story to RAGE.

So I hope to those of you Dishonored fans this brightens up your day.

Thank you for reading.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
