Grand Theft Auto V Impressions and PS4 Play As You Download

Good afternoon everyone.

Yesterday the gaming world rejoiced because an official gameplay video of Grand Theft Auto V was released and it was beautiful....

In this post I will give you my impressions of the gameplay and I've got some news about the PS4.

Grand Theft Auto V Impressions

To point out the obvious, Grand Theft Auto V looks gorgeous. The environments, cars and buildings all look great.

This is probably going to be the game that ends the 7th generation of consoles on a high note.

What also looks really great about it is the stuff you can do in your spare time. Playing golf, biking, flying planes through canyons, investing in stocks and real estate.

Customizing your car you ride in and the clothes you wear, is something I really like in an RPG.

From what I understand it seems that in past GTA games you could not do that, now however you can. I think the thing that Rockstar was telling the players is that there are so many choices for you to make in how you want to make your money, what kind of robberies you can commit and what you want to spend that money on.

I've never played the past GTA games but I will surely give GTA V a shot this time around.

Now for the info on the PS4.

PS4 Will Allow You To Play Games As you Download Them

Source:http://www.computerandvideogames.com/418520/ps4-allows-for-digital-library-access-from-any-console/

Senior Engineer at Sony Neil Brown, speaking at Develop today has announced that the PS4 will allow gamers quick access to their digital libraries from any PS4 anywhere, simply by logging into their PSN accounts.

"You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good, but how useful is that if it takes half a day to download the game you want to play?

With Play As You Download you get much quicker access to at least the first section of the game so you can start playing quicker. So this makes a digital library a practical option in the real world."

There is one thing that must be made apparent, the function of downloading games from your digital library is already a function on current generation consoles, the new feature is being able to play the game as it downloads.

The Xbox One will also allow the same functionality with access only to digital games, you will not be able to access your physical retail games without carrying the discs themselves.

The only personal thoughts I can give is on the information about the PS4.

A lot of people already took to the comments section and said "That's nothing new" yes the aspect of downloading games from your digital library is not new, the NEW aspect of this feature is being able to download the game and play it as you download it in the background. That's the new feature.

That's about it for this blog guys. Thanks for reading.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
