Glenn Beck Believes Watch_Dogs is Teaching People to Hack in Real Life

It's no surprise to many of us in the gaming community that a lot of people believe that violent video games are 'training' players to either kill, steal or more recently hack, at least that's what Glenn Beck thinks. For those of you who don't know who Glenn Beck is he's a conservative pundit. He's been on Fox News, he's now got his own network called "The Blaze." Recently he talked about Watch_Dogs on his show. Go to 3:58 in the video and that's when he'll start talking about Watch_Dogs. Did you hear that? Apparently Watch_Dogs is teaching you to hack into Glenn Beck's iPad! I'm no hacking expert but I think hacking is not that easy as Watch_Dogs makes it out to be. This is not Glenn Beck's first time saying something completely ignorant about video games, in fact, he's had other people come onto his show talking about violent video games. Categorizing violent video games as "training simulator

Battlefield 4 Weapon Guides: M1911

A common problem I find with most handguns in Battlefield is I can never decide on which handgun I can rely on to finish the job my primary weapon started. Luckily DICE made the M1911. This is the M1911 in Battlefield 4. Stats  The 8th side-arm in the secondary category, the M1911 is unlocked after earning a Handgun score of 34,000. It's lowest damage at range is 15.4 units of damage and it's maximum damage in close quarters is 36.6 units of damage. The weapon fires the unique .45 ACP round. The fire rate is rather slow compared to most other handguns. The M1911 fires only at a rate of 310 RPM, whereas handguns like the P226 fire at 400 RPM, the FN57 fires at 455 RPM and the CZ-75 at a fire rate of 380 RPM. Range is surprisingly good,  damage does not begin to drop until reaching  close or past 8 meters, you will reach the minimum amount of damage of 15.4 at exactly or pass 40 meters. Magazine size is very poor at only 7 rounds +1 in the chamber. You will

Resident Evil Archives: RE0 Review

Sometimes when another entry into a series is made it sometimes does not have enough content or change much from the previous entry of the series to be considered a brand new entry into the game series. Fallout: New Vegas was seen as more of an expansion pack to the Fallout franchise rather than a brand new experience in the Fallout series of games. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Revelations also share this same criticism. Resident Evil 0 is similar to New Vegas and AC:Brotherhood as it does not feel like a brand new Resident Evil experience and instead feels like an expansion pack to the Resident Evil franchise. Presentation In terms of graphical design, the Resident Evil Archives edition of Resident Evil 0 does not change much. It looks if not just as good or the same as the Gamecube version of Resident Evil. The only difference I did notice in the design was the font design in texts you would read for things like "Take the Handgun Ammo?" and "Took th

Titanfall(360) Review

At long last I had my chance to play this game. For last few weeks I have been scoping out my local video store for Titanfall for the 360. Twice I arrived to rent and return videos and a game, both times there was no copy. UNTIL LAST THURSDAY! I quickly ran to the 360 section to see if they had a copy...AND THEY DID! I took it, got out as soon as possible. I put in the game, installed the HD content and it was......awesome. Presentation On the 360 I wasn't expecting to get all the great detail of the Xbox One version of Titanfall, with that said, I was kind of impressed to see how well the game was ported from Xbox One to Xbox 360. Aside from that, everything looks pretty cool. Weapons have this nice futuristic design to them and the locations you play on will give off a great sci-fi like feel to these areas. You'll be on planets with different monsters and aliens either surrounding the map or in the map, bones of even bigger creatures found on the maps an

Microsoft Announces Kinect-less Xbox One Bundle

FINALLY!!! Something that I have personally had hope would happen and prayed it would happen soon is Microsoft announcing a Kinect-less free Xbox One Bundle. Source: http://www.polygon.com/2014/5/13/5713440/xbox-one-no-kinect-release-date-price-microsoft Microsoft's Phil Spencer announced that an Xbox One bundle without the Kinect will be available on June 9th 2014. The price will drop to $399 USD, on par with the Playstation 4's price. Phil Spencer had this to say with the announcement. "We've heard that you want more choices from Xbox One. You want a wide variety of options in your games and entertainment experiences and you also want options in your hardware selection," said Spencer. "To be clear, as we introduce this new Xbox One console option, Kinect remains an important part of our vision. Many of you are using Kinect for Xbox One every day. In fact, more than 80 percent of you are actively using Kinect, with an average of 120 voic

Battlefield 4 Weapon Guide: M16A4 Assault Rifle

I don't know how many of you used the M16 before the patch, but to those of you that did. Good news! This is the M16A4 in Battlefield 4. Stats and Performance The M16A4 returns from Battlefield 3 in the Assault Rifle category, unlocked when you reach an Assault Rifle Score of 59,000 points. Dealing a minimum damage of 18 at a distance and 25 units of damage up close. On par with most other assault rifles in the category. The weapon only has two firing modes: Burst and Semi-Automatic. The fire rate is good at 800rpm with every round traveling at a rate of 650 meters per second with the damage drop off beginning at 8 meters and completely falling off beyond 55 meters. The magazine size is the standard for most of the assault rifles at 30 rounds plus one in the chamber. Reload speed is FAST at 1.8 seconds when there are still rounds in the previous magazine and 2.37 seconds when the gun is empty. Recoil is fairly light, depending on how many times you pull the tr

Resident Evil: Revelations(Console) Review

My fellow Resident Evil fans. There is hope yet for Resident Evil. Resident Evil: Revelations, which was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS. Was released last year on the 7th gen consoles, the Xbox 360 and PS3. I recently rented Revelations from Gamefly and after playing it....there is hope. Something different I'll be doing from now on is not covering the story. All I will be covering will be the presentation and gameplay and multiplayer when there is a game with online multiplayer. Presentation Resident Evil Revelations sees a good transition from 3DS to home console. The atmosphere feels like classic Resident Evil. Claustrophobic environments, dark hallways and blood stained walls and the occasional corpse with limbs removed or holes in the abdomen. I found myself feeling the same sense of dread I have felt in previous Resident Evil titles once more and loving every minute of it. Like the mansion from RE1, there's more to the Queen Zenobia than meets
