Team Bondi Developers Return With New Title

Evening everyone.

This piece of news I wanted to cover personally once I heard that Team Bondi developers were making a new game.

I found this article on IGN

Here's what it states...

"The Australian government has granted $200,000 to KMM, the production house that recently acquired the rights to 'Whore of the Orient'. The company received this funding following the alleged dissolution of L.A. Noire developer Team Bondi, Game Informer reports. Ex-Team Bondi members, who formed Intuitive Game Studios, also received funding. 'Whore of the Orient' was originally aiming for release between 2013 and 2015."

I personally am very excited to learn about this, I absolutely loved L.A. Noire and in fact I'm playing through the game again this summer. I was very upset to learn that Team Bondi shut down after L.A. Noire was released, so this is very good news(well at least for me I don't know how everyone else feels)

The article also states...

"While hardly enough to create and  complete a modern video game, the $200,000 provided to KMM by New South Wales' Interactive Media Fund could keep 'Whore of the Orient afloat until it finds an investor or publisher. The IMF is intended for "creative digital content projects that are commercially oriented and destined for distribution on web-enabled platforms or devices and interactive video game console... with the ability to benefit other sectors such as health, finance and education."

As for the summary of the game, this is all we know so far.

"Shanghai, 1936. Whore of the Orient. Paris of the East. The most corrupt and decadent city on the planet, where anything can be had or done for the right price. Plaything of Western powers who greedily exploit the Chinese masses. Boiling pot of Chinese nationalism, with the Kuomintang ruthlessly trying to suppress Communism and the labour movement. Home to the International Police Force, a group of Western cops hopelessly trying to keep the lid on and keep the peace."

"Brendan McNamara and his acclaimed development team(who brought you L.A. Noire and The Getaway,) along with the Academy Award winning film production team of Kennedy Miller Mitchell comes Whore of the Orient, a next-generation gaming title."

So we can look forward to Whore of the Orient releasing on next generation titles.

I'm intrigued so far about the story, I can't say I'm looking forward to this but I will be keeping an ear out for more information about the game.

I have actually been hoping that the development team of L.A. Noire would've come back to make some sort of new title, again I absolutely loved L.A. Noire and I am glad to see the team making a new game.

Thanks for reading, see you guys next week.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
