Weapon Profile The SVU-AS is actually simply known as the SVU and originates from Russia, known as the Snayperskaya Vintovka Ukorochennaya which translates to Short Sniper Rifle. It is a bullpup configuration of the SVD sniper rifle. The SVU was developed to meet the needs of the security forces of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, such as OMON. The weapon was first seen in use in the First Chechen War, originally the plan was to slightly modernize the aging SVD rifle until eventually the design team realised that the configuration of the weapon would have to be completely altered, leading to the creation of the SVU. Hello everybody, welcome to another one of my Black Ops 2 Weapon Guides. Today we are going to be looking at the small but deadly SMG of Black Ops 2. The Chicom CQB. Weapon Profile The Chicom CQB is actually known as the Type-05 or QCW-05 or the Weisheng Chongfeng which literally translates to "Silenced Assault Gun, 2005" it is a suppressed sub-machine gun. It was manufactured and developed by the People's Liberation Army 208 Research Institute and Jianshe Industries a group corporation of Chongqing under the China South Industries Group for the People's Liberation Army. The weapon was designed for the 5.8 x 21 mm DCVO5 sub-sonic round that is also used by the QSW-06 silenced pistol. It is fed by a 50 round box magazine firing at 900 rounds per minute, production started in 2005 and is still in production today and is used only by the People's Republic of China. Weapon Profile The MSMC or Modern Sub Machine Carbine is a weapon originating from India, designed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment and manufactured by the Ordnance Factories Board. It was developed for the Indian Army, the gun is lightweight, compact compared to other Indian designed weapons. It is chambered to fire the 5.56x30mm MINSAS cartridge. The weapon was also made due to the disappointing performance of the INSAS rifle, a variant rifle was made called the "Excalibur" it was developed but it did not meet the requirements. Hello everyone. For those of you know what today entails I wish you a happy 4/20 and for those of you who are having a regular Saturday, I hope you're having a good weekend thus far. PS4 Back in February we a lot of us learned of Sony making an announcement, February 21st we saw the tech details and a few launch titles for the Playstation 4. We saw the new dual shock controller as well, which personally I like the design of it but I hope that we get some time before the console's launch to actually use the controller. I am very curious as to what the touch screen will do and if it will actually enhance the game experience. I have an Xbox 360 right now and I love the controller so I hope the move from 360 to PS4 will be comfortable. Hello again everyone. Once more we're heading into Black Ops 2, this time we're taking a look at the sharpest SMG of the tier. The Vector K10. Weapon Profile The Vector K10 or KRISS Vector is a very unique weapon, unique in what it is capable of doing . Most weapons have low recoil due to caliber fired, the KRISS Vector however utilizes asymmetrical recoil and in-line design to reduce recoil and muzzle climb, it absorbs the recoil in order to decrease the recoil. With this recoil reduction system it is capable of firing the very powerful .45 ACP round, this design was made in order to prove that the Vector could "tame" a powerful round. This weapon has been seen in Modern Warfare 2 but was simply known as the Vector. The weapon had extremely low recoil but lacked damage, 25-20 units of damage was astonishingly weak, Stopping Power would only increase the weapon damage to 30-25. The Mk 48 Light-Machine Gun. Weapon Profile The Mk 48 is a lightweight belt-fed machine gun that fires the NATO 7.62x51mm cartridge from a belt of ammunition. It is manufactured by Fabrique Nationale Manufacturing Inc., a division of FN Herstal based in the United States. The Mk 48 has been developed in conjunction with the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) which has adopted the weapon and started its fielding process with special operations units. SOCOM approved a requirement order for a new 7.62x51mm NATO round firing lightweight machine gun to replace the M60E4 and Mk 43 Mod 0 used by the United States Naval Special Warfare Command(NSWC) units.
