Xbox One Unboxing, PS Plus Not Required For Game DVR and Black Ops 2 DLC

Good evening

Today was a very interesting day for gaming news about the Xbox One and PS4. Quite exciting actually with some new revelations about both consoles, oh and yeah the last thing I wanted to talk about was the last piece of DLC coming to Black Ops 2, not for the multiplayer maps in the DLC but for what the new zombie map is going to be.

So thanks for joining me today(welcome back for those who read my post on Pat Robertson)

Let's begin.

Major Nelson unboxes The Xbox One

Today a video was released today, showing Major Nelson of Xbox unboxing the contents of the Xbox One.

In the unboxing he surprised viewers to announce that the Xbox One wired headset will be boxed in with the Day One Edition and Standard edition of the Xbox One.

Nothing is really unexpected here(except for the security lock, headset and sticker) The surprise though was that both Day One and Standard Edition bundles of the Xbox One would be getting the mono chat headset, previously it was believed that the headset would not come with any Xbox One bundle.

In fact Microsoft even stated that there wouldn't be a headset and instead let customers use the mic from the Kinect.

Not very exciting for myself, interesting non the less and I hope those who are very eager to get an Xbox One hyped you up some more with this unboxing.

PS Plus Not Required For Game DVR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When it was revealed that Xbox Live Gold would be required for the game DVR feature of the Xbox One, concerned fans asked Shuhei Yoshida if PS Plus would be required for the recording and sharing functionality of the PS4.

Yoshida responded with a simple "no"

Now although it is good to hear that PS Plus is not going to be required for the recording and sharing feature, it may be limited at the game developers discretion.

"There will be parts of a game that the maker does not want people to be able to see. For example, on Vita, developers can in certain scenes disable the feature that lets users take a screenshot, and (the Share function) will have a similar mechanism. The creator may not want to make video of the final boss sharable, for instance" Yoshida had stated a few weeks ago.

Black Ops 2 "Apocalypse" DLC

The final piece of DLC for Black Ops 2 is called "Apocalypse" with 4 new multiplayer maps and a new zombie mode called "Origins"

The maps will be Pod, Frost, Takeoff and Dig and the new zombie mode of course Origins.

Origins will bring back the original heroes of zombies, Tank, Nikolai, Takeo and Rictofen .

The DLC will be released this month on the 27th for 15 dollars or 1200 MS points.

Starting with the Xbox One unboxing.

Interesting to see what it's in the box, still getting a PS4 though. Also, a sticker?

Seriously?

PS Plus article.

That's good that people will still be able to use the record and sharing functions for the PS4 without PS Plus. I know a lot of people right now are getting on Microsoft's case for putting their game DVR features behind a pay gate but I'm not surprised MS is doing this.

As for the Black Ops 2 DLC.

Ehhhhhhh......

I haven't bought the last DLC packs for Black Ops 2 so I probably won't buy Apocalypse.

Not even for Origins, no one wants to play zombies on Black Ops 2 and I don't play Black Ops 2 anymore.

Anyways that's it for tonight.

Thank you guys for reading.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
