It's all about Microsoft in this post.

Phil Spencer has responded to Andrew House's "Shifting  Message" comment during Gamescom and CVP Phil Harrison.

Phil Spencer was speaking with Eurogamer about Andrew House's comment made near the end of Sony's Gamescom presentation.

"While others have shifted their message and changed their story, we were consistent in maintaining policies and a model that is fair and in tune with consumer desires."

In which Phil Spencer told Eurogamer:

"The two-way conversation that we have with gamers is critical, if we weren't able to listen then I don't think we're really creating the ecosystem that means people want to come into the platform. Other people will do and say what they're going to say. FIne. We're running our program."

Phil Harrison "Best lineup of games in the history of consoles"

Phil Harrison Corporate Vice President of Microsoft, said that the Xbox One launch lineup of games is the best lineup in console history.

In an interview with CVG, Harrison stated:

"Ultimately it's the games that make Xbox One stand out, and we have the best lineup of games--we think--in the history of consoles, we clearly have strong exclusive games, and we have partnered with EA to bring FIFA to Europe in a very meaningful way. Football in Europe is the sport, and in some countries it's the religion."

Those launch titles include Call of Duty:Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Killer Instinct, Madden NFL 25, NBA Live 14, FIFA 14, Dead Rising 3, Fighter Within, Ryse:Son of Rome and Forza Motorsport 5.

Starting with Phil Spencer's comments.

Oh Phil, you give the human race to much credit.

As much as I want to not see either company and gamers alike not throw mud at each other for sticking with a "team" it's not going to happen.

But come on, Microsoft and Phil Spencer should have seen this coming, with all the "180s" Microsoft has been doing for the past few months this was giving anyone from Sony the perfect ammunition to use against you. It's like if Dracula handed Van Helsing a wooden stake, held it against his heart and told Van Helsing.

"Hit right here"

As for Phil Harrison's comments.

Hold your horses there Phil 2.

Look you may have some good launch games but they are not the best in console history.

Dead Rising 3 does not have my interest, I've been playing Dead Rising 2 extensively for the past few days for review and for the fun of it, I would easily pass this game up for something else.

Ryse:Son of Rome? Still looks pretty bland, even with the new Gladiator Mode footage, still looks very boring.

Forza Motorsport 5? If there is anyone out there who wants to play the game that doesn't have an internet connection, will not be able to complete the game.

Best in console history is far fetched. I understand that he's part of the company and is supposed to promote the products made by the company but don't over exaggerate.

Before I finish this off I want to do a Q&A with you guys.

I've been doing this blog for quite some time now, in fact yesterday was the one year anniversary of when I first started the blog.

Ask me anything about the blog, why I started the blog, how do I decide when it's time to review a game, what games I prefer to play. My take on the Xbox One vs PS4, what else besides game reviews do I post on the blog etc.

It's a special thing I want to do for the one year I've been doing this and also because I'm interested to hear from anyone who's been a regular reader of my blog, if there is anyone out there who regularly reads my posts.

I do this for fun, share it and let the cards fall where they may, I don't know if I have regular readers so I'm very interested to find out if I do.

That's it for tonight guys, thank you for reading and ask away.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
