The "Why?" Collection

Hello everybody.

I'm taking a small break from video game reviews and weapon guides to just talk about a few things that made me question the world again.

Also, to ask the question...

" Why?"

Why do these things exist, why do people do this all the time, why is this like this and like that.

First on the list...

Why does the iPotty exist?

Yes folks, this is something that exists.

A toddler's toilet with a stand meant for an iPad to be placed in front of your toddler. Meant to " Give your children a comfortable and fun way to potty train,"

No, I am not making this up, this is something that has been advertised and is listed on sites like Amazon and Target.

First of all, what in the world is your 3 year old going to do on the iPad? Play Temple Run?

The iPotty is just....well....stupid.

I have asked everyone I know about the iPotty and all they do is shake their head and say the same thing "It's stupid." I agree.

Technology is made to help you in your personal life, I once again agree; but to use technology to do something a parent should be doing. That's going too far; a parent is meant to be the one to help their kids potty train, a parent is meant to educate their child. Not to leave them with a device that's worth a few hundred dollars and expect the toddler to do what they need to do with the help of a slab of hardware.

Next up...

Why does THIS exist?

Yet another product that is meant to occupy your newborn's time with the iPad.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has research that cites any electronic screen time for those under 2 is harmful and can impair language development and that there is also no research that proves that early screen time is actually of any benefit.

A Boston advocacy group known as the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, says that it's not healthy for a baby's development and encourages parents to leave the baby alone.

I agree, a parent will just set a list of videos to be played one after the other on Netflix or Youtube and will just leave the child, for god knows how many hours.

Add this device to the list of things that tell us the human race is slowly becoming dumber and dumber as time goes on.

Next..

Why does Fox News disregard science?

For those of you who have had the fortune of not being in the northern part of the US, you are lucky enough to not be experiencing the "Polar Vortex" a wave of colder than usual temperatures. Resulting in very, VERY cold temperatures.

Once again, global warming deniers, mainly Fox News, is making the argument that global warming is a liberal hoax. Because "it's cold today".

Look, it's cold outside of my home right now because it's night time here in Southern California. That does not mean global warming doesn't exist.

There is years and years of research and study that will tell you why global warming cannot be disproved because it's cold outside of your house at the moment.

Fox News insists that global warming doesn't exist and their main man that can back up their argument you ask?!

Donald Trump.

Fox News, why do you disregard science? Why do you think a man like Donald Trump in any way shape or form gives you a leg to stand on in your fight to  deny global warming?

You should by now that no matter how much you want to deny it, you cannot disprove global warming with people like Donald Trump; more importantly, you cannot deny global warming without science or logic.

Finally

Why do people think we're going to jump to bestiality for allowing same-sex marriage?

I believe in allowing same-sex marriage in America. We as a society have no right to deny the LGBT to marry their gay spouse.

So why when anytime, anyone, brings up the subject, people start to say that we're suddenly going to go one step further and allowing bestiality.

It makes no sense, there is little to no argument that makes sense as to why when we would allow same-sex marriage, we would suddenly allow bestiality.

I've still yet to hear a logical response as to why we would suddenly morph homosexual marriage into bestiality.

It's like saying that because we've put pineapple on pizza, soon we'll start to make pizza with snake skin as the crust.

Why would we ever do that?

Ending on that note

Thank you for reading.

I hope you enjoyed and I hope the things you may have learned about did not cause you to lose faith in humanity.

I'll be back tomorrow with a Battlefield 4 weapon guide on the AK-12.
