Top 5 Games To Play During The Halloween Season

Good afternoon everyone!

Well it's that time of the year again. The time of year where we all dress up as our favorite characters or horrifying creatures to walk out into the night and knock on strangers' doors for free candy. The time of year where we decorate our front yards with cobwebs, skeletons and grave stones.

So, being a gamer what I like to do around this time of the year is to play horror themed video games. Games that seem absolutely perfect to play around Halloween.

Today I have comprised a list of 5 games you should consider playing during the Halloween season.

These are the Top 5 Games To Play During Halloween.

Number 5
DOOM 64
Of all the Doom titles I've played in the past. None of them stands out more like Doom 64 for the Nintendo 64.

The original Doom is a classic, but, Doom 64 gets the horror of Doom done right. The music, the atmosphere and of course the demons you encounter in the game.

To me, Doom 64 fits perfectly into Halloween. Again, everything about gets the horror aspect of Doom done right. If you still don't believe me, listen to this single track. You'll understand why I chose this game to play during Halloween .

Number 4
Resident Evil REmake
If you are a gamer like me that decides to play a game in order to celebrate the holidays like Halloween. You play a game with zombies in it. If you are also like me, you play Resident Evil.

It's no mystery why I chose the REmake of the original Resident Evil for Halloween. A massive mansion filled with zombies, monsters, mutants and a secret underground lab with even more zombies, more monsters and more mutants.

Perfect.

Sit yourself down in your room, turn off the lights and close the curtains. Jump right in and you're on your way to survival-horror hell. It's a game fit for Halloween.

Number 3
Dead Space
The original Dead Space is still regarded to this days as the best Dead Space in the Dead Space series. The dark corridors of the Ishimura, the roars of the hideous Necromorphs making their way through the Ishimura and the massive size of The Leviathan.

It'll be an experience fit for the season. Like Resident Evil, this needs to be played in the dark alone. You'll get the full effect of the horror experience and you'll be hunched forward waiting for whatever kind of monstrosity is heading for you next.

Number 2
Super Castlevania IV
A Halloween is not a Halloween without the classic monsters of yester year. Vampires, ghosts, skeletons, demons, fish men, zombies, Frankenstein, Medusa and other iconic monsters.

That's where Castlevania comes in. I chose Castlevania IV because of the classic Halloween vibe it gives off whenever you play it. It's considered one of the great titles of the SNES era. It's a game perfect to play during the Halloween season.

Number 1
Silent Hill 2
Silent Hill 2 is a clever, deeply terrifying survival horror game. It's the game many people have claimed that is the best Silent Hill of the entire Silent Hill franchise. I can't concur with that Statement seeing as how I've only played 2 games out of the entire Silent Hill franchise.

Silent Hill 2 fortunately was one of those two. Silent Hill 2 fits perfect into the Halloween season due to the terrifying aspects of the game. Walking through bloodied abandoned Hospitals alone with nothing to even hint that you're being hunted down by a hideous monster.

Silent Hill 2 is a psychological horror game. If there are psychological horror films we watch during Halloween. Why not a psychological horror game? Silent Hill 2 is right up your alley if you want the horror to be built up instead of jump out as soon as possible to catch you off guard.

An absolute must play during Halloween.

There you have it. 5 games to play during the Halloween season.

I hope you guys have fun if you have some of these titles lying around in your game library.

Thank you for reading.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
