DOOM Reboot, BF Hardline Delay and Dragon Age:Inquisition Romance

Before I begin I would like to apologize to everyone about when I said I would be returning to my 3 news stories posts a long time ago.

I didn't stay true to my word and I hope you all will still read these posts.

With that said, I'm not going to be reporting daily news all the time.

In fact, some of these articles are from a few days ago.

These are going to be stories that I've found interesting and I'll share with you the story and my thoughts on the story.

Let's begin with something that I'm really upset that those of us who didn't go to Quakecon didn't see.

Won't See the DOOM Reboot for awhile.....

For those of you lucky folk who went to Quakecon, you were able to see a 20 minute demonstration of the reboot of the DOOM series.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, we're probably not going to see it at all this year.

Pete Hines, the PR and marketing boss for the publisher for DOOM, Bethesda, told PC Gamer that "...Doom is not yet ready for a proper reveal."

"We're working with them to say, 'How does this work? What do we want to show?'" Hines explains.

"And they're like, 'Look, we don't want a stream to go up for a game that isn't at the point where we would formally show it to the world, and now that thing is getting picked apart, and digested, and gone through frame-by-frame and getting nitpicked to death, when normally we wouldn't be showing this to anybody at all.'"

Seen the teaser trailer for the new DOOM from last month? That'll probably be the only thing of DOOM we will see for now.

Battlefield Hardline Delayed....and Final Stand is also delayed
Source:http://www.gamespot.com/articles/battlefield-hardline-delay-pushes-back-battlefield/1100-6421271/

Battlefield Hardline has been delayed until early 2015.

According to the EA Studios boss, Patrick Soderlund, the beta that was up available to play last month had more than 1.7 million players and "...we found a lot of feedback from players in there, providing us valid information and feedback around features of the game and how the game felt, etc."

"...And having a long discussion with the team, and looking at where we were, we felt like the best thing for us was to give the development team a little bit of extra time and get the game to where we think it needs to be in order to be successful."

Battlefield Hardline's Beta was announced and began on the first day of E3 during EA's press conference.

I was not a fan, but that's for later.

Dragon Age: Inquisition  allows gay and bisexual romance
Source:http://www.gamespot.com/articles/dragon-age-inquisition-has-straight-bisexual-and-g/1100-6421222/

Bioware has said that the new Dragon Age will allow bisexual and gay character romances. According to Bioware "...because they each tell different stories."

At the GaymerX2 the leader writer for Dragon Age, David Gaider, made the comments at the panel.

"In Inquisition we got the go ahead to include a lot more total romances, so the decision was made that we don't need to compromise," Gaider said. "So we are going to have straight romances, alongside bisexual romances, alongside gay romances. I thought that was pretty important because those are different stories to tell."

Inquisition includes a character named Dorian, he will only have romance with other men in the game.

Spread the love all around in Dragon Age baby....

Personal Thoughts: DOOM Article

Damn it!!!!

I've heard so many awesome things about the demonstration at Quakecon and now we won't even get to see what it was. I really hope that at least early next year we see something.

Some screenshots or images of the weapons from the game.

Well, if they feel it's not ready yet I can respect that. I still wish I could at least have seen the demonstration they showed off at Quakecon.

In fact, once we learn the date of the Doom Beta, I'm going to buy a copy of Wolfenstein just for that....maybe....

Battlefield Delay

I'm actually kind of happy that we won't see the final version of Hardline this year.

After the Beta I wasn't interested at all about the game or any other information surrounding the game.

It was really horrible in my opinion.

I deleted the Beta after 3 days of playing the game and felt that that was enough for me to not like the game.

I do know that for those of you out there that this is bad news for you, you guys may have liked the Beta a lot and you decided to pre-order the game.

Sorry to break it you about the game being delayed.

Dragon Age Romance

I've never played Dragon Age, except maybe a demo for Dragon Age 2.

None the less I think this bisexual and gay romance option for players will be really interesting. It's also a really progressive move on the designer's part.

We've got new console hardware and a bunch of new games coming our way. Let's change things around in the RPG formula.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
