Two-Cents Piece: Why I cannot recommend Destiny 2 Pt.1

Whenever I think of Destiny 2 I often think of games like Borderlands and Red Dead Online. Borderlands because of the variety of guns and the gun loot. Red Dead Online for the grind of roles like Collector, Bounty Hunter and Trader.

Starting with Borderlands. Ever since the first game it was apparent that this game had a massive amount of guns that would make any other shooter blush with how many guns it has. Assault Rifles, Sub-Machine Guns, Light Machine Guns, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launchers, Grenades, Shields, Class Item Mods and alien guns! You finish side quests you get new weapons, complete main story missions and you get new weapons. You could play this game for an hour and depending on what you did for an hour you could almost be over-stocked with guns, so many guns you either know to keep and sell them for better weapons and gear or keep them for possible different load outs with a variety of weapons at your disposal.

With Red Dead Online, the grind, the online multiplayer of Red Dead 2 introduced roles; jobs with different tasks to accomplish to earn money or new equipment for your character. The Bounty Hunter, probably the most iconic role, has you tasked with completing bounties posted on the bounty board in towns with sheriff offices and you can do both basic bounties and legendary bounties with more cash to be rewarded and a greater challenge to overcome, the more time you put into the bounty hunter role the more you get out of it. You get more money and you get more access to cosmetic attire, skills, horses and equipment like a Reinforced Lasso or Bolas traps. You take on the role of Trader, where you hunt and skin animals, deliver them back to camp to be crafted into goods and you get a chunk of cash. You work more on it you can make it so donated materials end up making more money for you, you can buy wagons to making transporting hunted animals easier and like the bounty hunter role you can also acquire new cosmetics. Both the Bounty Hunter and Trader role are perfect examples of more grind and dedication to the roles the more money, experience and reward you get from these two roles.

When we look at Destiny 2 while comparing it to things like Borderlands and how it rewards the players and the Red Dead Online grind, with both of these elements in mind, Destiny 2 greatly fails at delivering an extensive arsenal and rewarding players with the level of grind that the player has to put in when playing the game.

The Grind is Real | Destiny (Video Game) | Know Your Meme

I have a Titan in Destiny 2, I've put a lot of hours into playing this character by completing weekly vanguard strikes, completing daily Gunsmith and Vanguard bounties as well as doing most if not all of the weekly playlist challenges to gain a higher light level(power level) Titan to be able to take on tougher activities like Nightfalls or be ready if I were to ever join a fire team to do a raid. The problem though with these weapon drops and armor drops is that the weapon and armor that drops will have a downside. For weapons it'll be a weapon sub-class you hate to use or the perks that dropped when paired together offer very little to your arsenal. The armor that drops have low stats so you get a higher power level item with stats that don't prove beneficial to your character. Which then leads you to infusing it to another piece of armor but if you don't the Upgrade Module item which requires a certain set of in-game currency, planetary materials from a specific planet, legendary shards from dismantling legendary based items and you can then maybe JUST MAYBE afford one Upgrade module.

Which leads me to my overall point that if doing so much as getting a stronger character in the game is going to be filled with nothing but mindless grinding all because I wanted to do one simple thing like empowering my character than how could I continue playing this game if the most simplest aspect of the game is riddled with needless grinding and destination traveling.

And that's just the power grind of Destiny 2. This is just the start of what I want to say about this game!

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Weapon Guide:M-TAR Assault Rifle

Hello everyone, time for my first weapon guide of Black Ops 2. Today we're looking at the starting assault rifle, the M-TAR. History The Micro-Tar is a micro version of the TAR-21 rifle. It's designed to take advantage of a shorter barrel which means decreased recoil but increased accuracy. Designed for special fores units, it is capable of converting to different ammo variants such as the NATO standard 5.56 cartridge and the 9mm submachine gun round. It is also designed to be capable of attaching a Suppressor, as of 2009 a grenade launcher was being designed to attach to the M-TAR, the M-TAR can attach the M203PI grenade launcher. If you're a FPS veteran then you saw this weapon first in Battlefield 3 as part of the Close Quarters DLC, for COD veterans we saw this weapon's bigger brother, the TAR-21 in Modern Warfare 2. I'm warning you now, the M-TAR is not the TAR-21 we saw in Modern Warfare 2. Multiplayer Stats, Attachments and Performance In gam

Retro Gazette Reviews:Batman Returns SNES Review

Hello everyone. Welcome to another one of my Retro Reviews. Today we're going to be looking at a personal favorite of mine from the Super Nintendo era. Batman Returns. Story Music If you can't tell all ready from the intro video above, the music to Batman Returns for the SNES sounds great and does a good job of recreating some of the songs we heard in the film. My personal favorite stage music is from Stage 7 when you enter Arctic World, The Liberation of Gotham track sounds amazing in 16 bit audio. It's strange to review the music in a video game but the audio stands out so much and does an amazing job, again of recreating the films' soundtrack. Presentation The graphics and detail of Batman Returns is very good and ironically is much more colorful than the Tim Burton film. Gotham City, although currently suffering from a clown riot looks fantastic and Konami yet again does a good job of recreating scenes from the film, you see all these backgro
