Top 7 Games To Play During Summer 2014

Summer Vacation. A time that many of us whom attend school anxiously wait for. For non-gamers, it's a time to sleep in, relax, go out to lunch with friends and family. Go to the movies to see Transformers(maybe). For gamers however, it's the time we spend many sleepless nights tapping away at our A buttons and make sure we blast away that camping asshole whose gamertag is "xXLeGiT-SkElZXx" We wake up, eat and spend the rest of the day playing our collection of video games. We don't need to plan out the day, we already have a plan. Like last year I made a list of 7 games to play during Summer. Unlike last year, this list of games is more of a mix of games that I think fit the season and games that I think are fun and best to be played when you have nothing but time on your hands. Rather than games that only fit the season. I hope you saved up some cash and are looking forward to spending countless hours playing some good games. These are the seven game...

Fallout New Vegas DLC Review: Honest Hearts

A few hours ago I recently finished the second piece of DLC for Fallout New Vegas. Well....at least compared to Dead Money it's better. This is Honest Hearts. Story The story I admit is not as interesting as Dead Money's story. If I were to rank both stories. Dead Money's gets a 8 out of 10 and Honest Hearts gets a 7 out of 10. That said, it does introduce us to The Burned Man. Once loyal to Caesar's Legion then set on fire and thrown off a cliff by Caesar. That instantly makes The Burned Man a bad ass. During your travels in the Mojave Wasteland your Pip-Boy picks up a radio transmission from a member of the Happy Trails Caravan Trading Company. The job is to escort the caravan through Zion National Park in Utah. Once you arrive you learn of a tribal war between The Dead Horses and The White Legs. The White Legs are a tribe attempting to get on Caesar's good side and join his legion. The Dead Horses on the other hand are led by The Burned Man him...

Resident Evil 4 Review

The Nintendo 64's version of Resident Evil 2 was the first Resident Evil game I played that introduced me to the series. My friend's brought over some of their new N64 games and among them was Resident Evil 2. Since then I have been a big fan of the franchise and have played almost every single entry into the series. From Resident Evil 0 to Resident Evil 6, from Resident Evil Outbreak to Dead Aim. I have enjoyed playing many of them, however, none of them measure up to the experience I had with Resident Evil 4. In the RE fan base many consider the game to be the best of the series. It was the entry into the series that I personally believe kept true to the spirit of what made Resident Evil the survival horror series that many gamers such as myself enjoyed but still changing so many things to how we played the game. So what was it that made the game so enjoyable? Story Six years after Raccoon City Leon finds himself employed by the U.S. Government as part of the P...

inFamous:Second Son Review

Hello everyone! I have never played the inFamous series. I never had a Playstation 3 so a majority of the exclusive titles on the console I would rarely get to play. I was able to play a little bit of God of War III but that's about it. I say this because if you see a lack of a compare and contrast to the last two inFamous titles in this review. You now know why. With that also said, inFamous:Second Son is the first PS4 exclusive I have played that I enjoyed every minute of it. I like the character Delsin, I like the graphics and I especially like the gameplay. Let's begin. Story In all honesty the story is not the strongest part of the game. The story isn't really a big player in the game. The story is there, but it's not there to intrigue you in anyway. It's a simple superhero story. Our main character, the hero, is hunting after the main villain to get revenge after what the main villain did to the people the main hero cares about. The story...

Fox News Legal Analyst links Dark Souls to "Craiglist Killer"

Yes everyone it's 2014. The 2nd month into the new year and here we go again into the world of ignorance and scapegoats. Source:http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/132358-Fox-News-Links-Dark-Souls-to-Craigslist-Killer Fox News Legal Analyst Peter Johnson Jr. when discussing the arrest of the dubbed "Craigslist Killer" on Wednesday  this week was listing factors as to what could have made her  go on this rampage. He goes on to list the factors as to what may have been the thing to turn her into a killer. Dark Souls was the first thing listed as to what may have made her into a murderer. He stated: "We're talking about a girl at age 13,14,15, after being part of one murder, going on and completing 20-something murders," he goes on saying   "We do know that has an affinity for the fantasy game called Dark Souls, which is a very dark, death laden video game that's on Playstation and other kinds of video type things where there's...

GazetteGamer BF4 W.Guides: M40A5 Sniper Rifle

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another one of my BF4 weapon guides. Today, we are going to be looking at the second bolt-action rifle of the Recon Class. The M40A5. In-Game Stats The M40A5 returns from Battlefield 3 as your second unlocked bolt-action rifle in the Recon class. Unlocked after getting a score of 8,000 with sniper rifles. The M40A5's damage is on par with most sniper rifles, 100 hit points of damage with every shot and 59 at an extreme distance. The damage drop off begins at 12.5 meters and completely drops off at 100 meters. We are looking at a bolt-action rifle so the fire rate is slow, only 60 rounds per minute. Muzzle Velocity is good at 480 meters per second, for reference, most of the later unlocked sniper rifles such as the JNG-90, .338 Recon and SRR-61 have a muzzle velocity 100 to 200 meters faster than the 0A5. Magazine size however is good for a sniper, 10 rounds + 1 in the chamber for 11 shots. The reload speed is also not that ba...
